Haunting of Verdansk is a time-limited event that went live on October 20 and goes until November 3. Several new skins are available in the game, including some based on the horror movies Saw and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. New cosmetics can only be unlocked during the event and disappear after it ends. So players have around two weeks to earn everything available.
It's worth noting that both games are offering double XP events during the second week, starting October 30. Double XP will help players reach their goals faster before the event ends. Call of Duty: Warzone is getting the night-time Verdansk map, a new Trick-or-Trios mode, 16 Trick-or-Treat rewards, a Zombie Royale mode, Juggourdnaut Royale mode, and Plunder: Blood Money modes.

Trick-or-Trios mode takes place on the new night-time Verdansk map, with squads of three. The new night-time map brings about different tactics since you can sneak and hide from enemy players. Scattered throughout the map are special Halloween crates that drop one of 16 different rewards.
Ghosts, wolf howls, and a series of jump scares appear throughout the map. With Halloween reward crates appearing in the hubs on the map, expect firefights to break out and these areas to stay busy for the event's duration.

Zombie Royale mode is another modified take on the traditional battle royale play. The gas covers most of the map, leaving less room to explore. When players die, they respawn as zombies. Defeat two still-human enemies and grab their anti-viral medication to become human again.
Zombie players have unique moves for getting around the map. They can leap up the side of tall buildings, throw tear gas canisters, and trigger a small EMP blast that removes the enemy players' HUD. Zombie Royale means you're not down for the count when you die, which leads to much more engaging matches. Too bad it's only around for a limited time.

Onslaughter is the new limited-time mode available in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. A powerful Juggernaut suit spawns randomly around the map. The first player to get there can use the suit to help teammates push through. The mode really resembles playing Titanfall online.
