Ubisoft Forward

Developers are more than happy to make up for the lack of E3 in 2020. Ubisoft is no exception, with Ubisoft Forward giving us some great glimpses at what the teams are working on right now and what's next. There were tons of updates in both the pre-show and the main event. From the latest details on Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint to some new reveals, expect a little something for any fan of the powerhouse at their event. Anticipate plenty more to come, as well, with such a great line-up planned for fall.

Just Dance 2020

The wildly popular dance game is getting an update on July 23, 2020. It'll come with six brand new titles. Also, look forward to a new tournament mode that pits you against other players worldwide based on your skills.

The Crew 2

The recent Summer in Hollywood update for The Crew 2 also got some more information in the pre-show. "The Beach" and "Neon Battle" are both new modes unveiled at Ubisoft Forward that will also be added over the next few weeks. Furthermore, get hyped for special events in The Crew 2, starting in August.

Brawlhalla

The fast-paced fighting game is coming to iOS and Android systems on August 6. It features over 50 fighters and promises to bring all the mayhem that gamers love to mobile devices everywhere. You can pre-register for the release here and even get a free skin at launch.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint

The shooter has struggled in its first year, from bad sales to the rough reviews it received. However, Ubisoft promised a new chapter in the game, with AI teammates finally added on July 15. They are fully customizable, from their looks to their weapons and gear. The AI will follow you in sneak mode, or any of four commands you give them.

Watch Dogs: Legion

We got some meaty gameplay footage and updates about the highly-anticipated upcoming tech-action game. Play as any character, each with their unique abilities. It will change the gameplay from quests that matter to how each character interacts with surrounding London. They also have their influences on the intensely political story.

However, we'll have to wait a bit longer to play this title. It's now due out on October 29, 2020. It'll launch first on Xbox One, PS4, Google Stadia, PC, and Uplay+. Additionally, it will be a launch title on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, and a free upgrade for anyone who already owns a current-gen copy. Not bad!

Hyper Scape

The hottest new title from Ubisoft is no doubt their upcoming free-to-play battle royale game, Hyper Scape. We got plenty of juicy gameplay featuring a host of characters with interesting abilities. The biggest news, though? Hyper Scape is live, with a free open beta currently running. Simply download the game here, register, and check out the first-person-shooter battle royale of the summer.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla

There is plenty of information already leaked about the new Assassin's Creed before the event. However, Ubisoft gave us even more juicy details through nearly 30 minutes of gameplay footage. We saw choppy waters aboard a Viking raiding boat and the brutal battle system pitting Viking warriors against unforgiving English fighters. We now have the confirmed release date for Valhalla: November 17, 2020, for Xbox One, PS4, and Stadia. It will launch on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, but those dates aren't confirmed.

Far Cry 6

The game was yet another victim of early leaks. Nonetheless, Ubisoft took the time to confirm some of the most interesting points for gamers. We get a return to classic Far Cry set up in the newest title, slated for release on February 21, 2020. Choose to play as a woman or a man. Additionally, get ready for a fully voiced experience this time, including talent from actor Giancarlo Esposito. Far Cry 6 will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5, and PC.
