The graphics in Black Ops are expanded from Call of Duty's previous release, World at War. Additionally, the developer Treyarch introduced a special technology called streaming texture that allowed for bigger and better multiplayer maps than ever seen before in Call of Duty! Finally, Treyarch introduced motion capture technology, which allows players to truly experience the facial expressions, body language, and movement of the actors. Some actors for this installment include Gary Oldman and Ice Cube. The "zombies" mode map called "Five" has an easter egg song cover, "Won't Back Down" performed by Eminem and P!nk. Oppositely, the main story itself features Cold War-era music such as The Rolling Stones and Credence Clearwater Revival. The graphics and audio shine in this game, presenting realistic wartime vibes and earning a 5/5.

Black Ops has many different things to do. In the story, players progress through an epic tale set in the Cold War. Play as Special Activities Division operative Cpt. Alex Mason, and go behind enemy lines in lots of missions. Travel to places like Cuba, Hong Kong, and many other countries that were less than friendly to the United States during the 1960s. Conversely, for some multiplayer, hop into the lobby and customize weapons, skills, and grenade load-outs. There are modes such as team deathmatch or capture the flag. Finally, the zombie's mode in Black Ops has its own maps and story, making for a totally different experience. Players can enjoy zombies solo or co-op.

Conclusion

Call of Duty: Black Ops stands as one of the ultimate installments worth revisiting regularly in the franchise. It embraces the wacky by bringing back zombies while maintaining its footing in the action-packed world of secret ops during the Cold War era. This video game's advancements in graphics, its diverse game modes, endless customization options, and countless multiplayer maps make it a 5/5 must play for any fan of first-person shooters!
