The Grand Theft Auto™ series continues to be one of the hottest franchises in the industry. Since the 2013 release of the latest title, Grand Theft Auto V™, has drawn in popular reviews for it's stunning open-world, unique gameplay and features, missions and secret quests, and, of course, the hilarious anarchist tone. With continuous updates, new modes, particularly the Grand Theft Auto Online™ option, this action-adventure video game by Rockstar Games continues to set the benchmark for the genre.
At the time of its release, Grand Theft Auto V™ was promised to be the most ambitious title in Rockstar Game's catalog. In addition to the large open-world, the game also features an upgraded game engine, three playable characters, an open-world with plenty of things to do, and an ongoing multiplayer service.
Grand Theft Auto V™ is built on the RAGE Engine, allowing for high-detailed textures and a consistently smooth frame rate even during the game's most intense moments. The remastered versions on Xbox One and PS4 look especially good!
The Cast - Grand Theft Auto V™ stars three principle actors: Shawn Fonteno, Ned Luke, and Steven Ogg. The entire cast features over one hundred voice actors, making it the largest ensemble game by Rockstar at the time.
The Music - As with most Grand Theft Auto™ games, Grand Theft Auto V™ features several radio stations and original ambient music from Tangerine Dream, Woody Jackson, The Alchemist, and Oh No. The in-game radio features over 200 licensed tracks covering a variety of genres.
In Single-Player Campaign Mode, the storyline of Grand Theft Auto V™ is divided by multiple missions spanning across three playable characters: Michael De Santa, Trevor Phillips, and Franklin Clinton. Each character has their own personal backstory which overtime intersect together to tell an overarching plot. Depending on a crucial choice near the climax of the narrative, only one, or all three, characters may survive to the end. After completing the story's opening mission, you will unlock the sandbox world and from then on can follow the narrative or do a number of side-activities at your leisure. The three playable characters also have their own set of skills, adding a layer of strategy when it comes to choosing the best character for a particular situation.
In the live Multiplayer Campaign Mode (known as Grand Theft Auto Online™), you can participate in a number of different challenges and activities either with or against other players. Some of these activities include bank heists and motor racing. Most, if not all, of the activities on the multiplayer servers are tied to a Rockstar Social Club account which you can get for free. You can start an account by signing up on Rockstar Game's official website. Some perks of having a Social Club accent includes unlocking exclusive in-game content and an overall richer gaming experience. As of this writing, the latest update to the multiplayer campaign was only one day ago with double rewards being credited for aerial themed missions and modes. This reward special will continue on until March 13, 2019.
If you have not yet experienced a Grand Theft Auto™ or sandbox title Grand Theft Auto V™ will be a great introduction! You can purchase the game on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Windows Personal Computer.
Grand Theft Auto V™ is packed with range of gameplay options and new and improved features to keep players immersed in the sprawling sun-soaked Los Santos we all remember.
