Grab your friends and hunt down Bigfoot using your wits, wares, and weapons.

Finding Bigfoot is an Early Access game from developer Cyber Light. It is a multiplayer adventure that allows you to explore a forest and try to kill Bigfoot. The game comes with a variety of variable features, including weather, woodland animals, traps, weaponry, and more.

Concept - Bigfoot, lightning, and bears - Oh, my!

In Finding Bigfoot, you walk around a spooky, dark forest, as well as the various caves and trailers you find in that forest. The object is simple: You and your teammates stalk the map for Bigfoot. Along the way, you have to survive the woods and all the animals within it. You are given an away of weapons and collectibles to help make this happen.

The concept is simple and robust. The game makes good use of the environmental aspects and allows you to set traps while keeping you on your toes as you are being attacked by multiple foes.

Graphics and Audio - Blurry graphics, sharp sounds

This game wants to scare you. As such, the graphics, and mainly the audio, have to be able to meet those demands. Thankfully, they do.

The graphics are not the greatest. Development on this game started three years ago, and it shows, as many of the game's visuals are not as sharp as you may wish they were.

What steals the show in this game are the sound effects. The ambient noise, the creaking branches, the natural sounds that stop and start at the appropriate moments - these all do a great job at scaring the heck out of you.

Gameplay - Guns, Bears & Bigfoot!

The goal of the game is to find Bigfoot. You are given a wide array of weapons and traps that you can find and use as part of this mission.

However, don't think that Bigfoot is your only enemy. The game is replete with other enemies - like bears - that will maul you to death, making this a nice element and adds a scare factor to the experience. Furthermore, the weather varies, as does the time of day, adding a degree of randomness to the experience.

The good news is that this is a multiplayer adventure. You and three friends can play. The atmosphere is creepy and mysterious, and it is a joy to experience.

Some reviewers noted that there are specific items in this game that should be improved, such as customizable controls and mouse sensitivity. However, this game is still in Early Access, giving developers plenty of time to make the necessary improvements before the game becomes more widely available.

Conclusion

The game is still in Early Access and is available for download on Steam. It is currently slated to come out of Early Access in September 2020. The game is available for $15.99.

Unfortunately, the game gets old, fast.

Yes, you can play with your friends, and yes, the locations of Bigfoot and other animals will change each time you play. However, the map is relatively small, and there's only one mode of play. As a result, after a few hours or rounds, you will be bored.

Thankfully, since the game is in early access, the developers have room and time to make improvements. Indeed, many patches have already done this, adding sound effects, bug fixes, and map improvements.

TL/DR

A solid early effort that allows you to hunt Bigfoot.
