Art designers from Team Fortress 2, as well as creative directors from Riot Games' other well-known franchise, League of Legends, are teamed up to create a new, fast-based team experience. Beauty Meets Battle

This upcoming title features all the meaty classic content that gamer's have come to know and love from team combat. The developers first bounced the idea of Valorant around way back in 2014. They were looking for something that would be incredibly visually appealing while still giving gamer's a great play experience.

Flash forward six years and countless hours of development. Valorant is the result of all the hard work from Riot Games. The team-focused game blends aspects of Overwatch and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, creating a quick but meaty game where characters have both abilities and team-based objectives. Matches consist of 24 total rounds, so expect to dump a decent amount of time into this 4/5 concept.

Valorant Boasts About its FPS

Valorant is already graphically impressive. It is capable of efficiently running a base of 30 frames per second, even on a machine nearly ten years old. On the newer model PCs, the content regularly tops 120 FPS.

Not only does this translate into some great looking gaming, but it ensures you're getting the most accurate, first-person game-play. Grenades launch precisely where you expect, and gunfire is easily traceable. Overall, the 5/5 graphics are already hands down one of the most exciting things about Valorant.

Straightforward Team Play

Build a team of five players with friends or other online game'rs. Then, take on the opposing 5-person team in a match of survival. The attacking team has a bomb that they plant on the defending team's side. The defending team must defuse the bomb or survive the timer. Success earns the defense a point. However, failure means the attacking team wins the point.

massive weapons variety, handguns, sniper rifles, assault rifles, and plenty more.

Each character has unique abilities, as well. Viper has a series of poison-based moves, as well as toxic grenades to round out her set. Other characters are tanks, and there are even healer class options.

Unlock and upgrade all of these tools in a shop between matches. Set up specific load-outs for different characters and match-ups. Valorant is still in its closed beta, but the game-play already earns a 4/5! It looks polished, and matches run smoothly, with all characters playing together well on diverse teams.

A Rising Star

Free-to-play games are a dime a dozen. However, how many can boast star developers from Riot Games? How many offer decades of experience behind a guaranteed anti-cheating system?

Valorant is a title slated to stand alone with its years of development and great-looking result.

The graphics, the characters, and the quick-paced combat is something fresh that PvP players are eagerly anticipating! The closed beta footage we've seen so far ensures that tons of gamer's worldwide will be flocking to Valorant in Summer 2020 when it releases its full version!

TL/DR

Valorant is the upcoming, free-to-play team-based shooter from Riot Games.
